Basic job description for an audio post professional

How do I get a job without experience?

Now more than ever, audio post facilities want to hire people with previous experience. Entry level jobs still exist, but keep in mind that there are now thousands of people graduating from audio schools every year, all of them looking for the same job you are! Competition is really tough for these sought after roles. the APCA solves this problem! If you treat this curriculum seriously, and with my help, you will become a seasoned audio post engineer that any creative audio post facility would be happy to hire.

200+ Sessions - 40 Weeks

This course is a commitment.

There are 40 sections to this course. Each section has between 3 and 6 lessons. Sections are released every week for 40 weeks.

I know, this sounds like a lot, but the only way to get really good at something is to practice. I built this apprenticeship to be a simulation of what working for a real audio post house is like. I also want to give you the experience of what it would be like to work at different kinds of audio jobs too. Thats why the course has advertising as well as scripted film.

Plain and simple, I want you to find work. I want you to be able to rise above the rest of the pack and get your first job in audio post. I believe that the Audio Post Career Accelerator is the way to make that happen.

It's totally understandable if you can't do a session every day. Don't worry, just try and catch up on the weekends when you can. There will be busy weeks and weeks where I make it a little easier. When you get around 30 sessions in, you'll start to get faster and faster.

Please don't overwork yourself! Nothing, and I mean nothing is more important that your health, family and relationships. Doing something you love can make you slack off on other parts of your life too. Don't do it! Make the time to take care of yourself, eat right and get plenty of sleep.

It has always been my intention to improve the curriculum over time. Rest assured that if there is an update, you will be notified.
